In her book, Elizabeth Gilbert challenges readers to hunt for the strange jewels hidden deep within ourselves, to move from a mundane existence to a more enchanted one—what she calls Big Magic.
In this 8-week series we combine the text of Big Magic with kundalini breath, mantra and movement to powerfully initiate a more creative existence. Kundalini yoga, the yoga of transformation, increases neuroplasticity by asking us to move and breathe in ways that we never would otherwise. It works on our subtle anatomy to dissolve blocks and activate energy centers allowing us to gain greater awareness, access the neutral mind and uncover our Sat Nam (true identity).
This series is for all body types, physical activity levels, and ages 12+. Each class will include some discussion of the text, pranayam (breathwork), kriya (a set of exercises for an intended purpose), deep relaxation and mantra meditation. This series is for you if… you’re new to kundalini yoga you want to bring enchantment into the every-day you’re a creative professional looking to reignite your spark you want more courage (aka a healthier relationship with fear) you are intrigued with magic…who isn’t?
